A laundry is one of the busiest rooms in the house. It needs to be functional, spacious and practical. WA Prestige Cabinets has achieved that in this prestigious new home in Perth’s northern suburbs.

What we did..

The hard wearing post formed laminated benchtop houses a 70 litre ceramic trough.

Long wide benches feature loads of space for sorting linen. Tall overhead cabinets create storage space for items like cleaning agents that are easy to access but need to be out of reach of the little ones.

A handy feature is the hanging rail mounted below the overhead cabinet to keep all those neatly ironed clothes in order.

A laundry chute from the first floor ensuite finishes on the benchtop. Clothes are hidden behind a door and can be easily sorted when you are ready. Below the bench are 2 large basket draws which are handy for storing dirty linen out of site. The basket draws are located close to the front loader washing machine and dryer for convenient access.

There is also a tall storage cabinet which is handy for hiding brooms, mops and even a vacuum cleaner. A separate slot inside the cabinet allows storage for an ironing board which can quickly and easily be accessed.
